Would be massively surprised to see Cornet play again for us save in friendlies. He'll want away and we only need blokes who are 100% happy at TM. The others can catch the X43.

Seems an interesting prospect that Wright lad

14 goals in the Turkish top division is certainly not to be sniffed at.

He does seem to fit the mold of striker Kompany likes up top as well. KRBFC can probs confirm but he looks similar in style to Zirkzee

It's Twitter. Percentage-wise you're looking at only 5% of football fans on there knowing much about football. And that's being generous.

A 20 goal striker at Premier League level I suggest.

9 goals in little over half a season, played just over 1700 minutes and there are not far off double that in a full season. So only a smidgen off 20 goal rate. I expect him to get snapped up fast, sadly.

I'm aware of him due to his opta scores, he was on absolute fire at the back end of the season so was pretty popular to day trade with. He scored like 10 decisive actions (goals and assists) in the last 6 or 7 games of the season. I haven't seen him play though, so I've absolutely no idea on his playstyle or if he's any good.

Include his goals then and his overall game still wasn't good, his goals made his performances seem better than they were. Cornet isn't a striker he's a winger and didn't get involved enough.
If Pope had a stinker for 89 minutes and we was losing but he made 1 worldie at the end would you say he played well?

I wouldn't be surprised if Cornet stays. If anyone was that keen to sign him they would have already met the release clause. Maybe he'll be someone's backup option later in the window but by that point he'll be training with Kompany (who speaks French btw) and the new players so who knows what he'll decide.

From the video clips available, and the view of Oxford and Ireland fans, it seems like McNally is more than a decent young player and one who probably fits how Kompany wants to play very well indeed.

The features of McNally's game appear to be in contrast to Ballard's, with whom the view was that he was best suited to playing in a low block system.

We should let them have him and take Lois Openda from them, he doesn't want to stay, recently started for Belgium and scored in the nations league. Was on loan in Holland last season.
