So is he in trouble for not telling his employers about his additional income or for poor business practices?

Hookers tend to sell their time and then whatever happens is between two consenting adults, that's how they get around the law.
Pretty sure there was a story going around the other year about a man who hired an escort to then build Lego with him 🤔
