Before anyone dares suggest it, no we don't want him rocking up at TM.

Trandlated as "So sorry but whilst being a failure I have lived a great life, travelled the world, bought what I wanted. Not meaning to rub your noses in it"

Fair play to him and its a real shame we didn't man manage him better as he had potential to be a big player for us.

Long winded way of saying he was a bit of a knob and got paid very well for it.

You spew out more casts than the worms in my back garden.

Anyway, I have a tip for you. There is horse running in the 3.30 at Carlisle tomorrow called Dirty Leeds at 6/1. Knowing their luck this week I think it’s safe to put your house on it, so why don’t you have a punt preferably a big one?

At least we know it should stay the distance and not fall at the final hurdle unlike some of the donkeys that have been knocking around these Premier stables for the last 5 or 5 seasons

Showing your lack of sporting knowledge here DA. Tomorrow’s race is just over five furlongs so there won’t be any hurdles to fall over.

In the full Instagram post he says he would not change what has happened which tells you all you need to know really. His attitude is a shame as he was clearly so talented.

Bad news for Leeds fans, Dirty Leeds came last in the 3.30 at Carlisle. Hopefully loads of them piled on including Ducks Arse.

What was it; one decent season at Leicester?
He's made a lot of money out of being a ***t

Drinkwater is a strange one, he's had a good career, and won the PL, but I can't help feel he could have done even more.

And as for his loan spell at Burnley less said the better, thankfully we could return him to Chelsea, imagine if we'd actually shelled out a transfer fee for him, it was bad enough how much we wasted on his wages.

I had a bad feeling about Drinkwater from the moment he did that first ClaretsPlayer interview with us. It was hard to ignore just how unenthusiastic he looked.

He has got nowhere to go, unless Reading make an offer which I suspect will not be lucrative enough for him

What a waste of a career for someone so good 6 years ago

Seems the penny has finally dropped for Drinkwater, shame it's happened too late for him to salvage his career at the top level.

An apology ? .. he has been taking obscene wages for years for doing nothing plus the 35m investment in buying him .. disgrace

His awful game was at home to City. Genuinely felt like Dyche was making a point to Garlick about loaning him.

Why the F we signed him.in the first place was scandalous, why the F he wasn't sent back when he got p1ssed up brawled and hurt himself was bordering on corrupt and has never been explained.

Yep you're right.

Christ, he was sh** wasn't he.

Really can't do with modern footy players in the top leagues that have all the money and help in the world and are just absolute tossers.

It was pretty clear that Dyche didn't want him but I'm not sure we could have sent him back whatever happened.

He was the complete opposite of a Dyche player. Garlick should have been called out, there was nothing in it for BFC that was obvious, so apart from Drinkwater who benefited financially from the deal apart from agents ?

If you look at his career post signing for Chelsea there’s nothing we could have done other than swerve signing him in the first place.

Sadly all the ability but also considerable illness.
