Blimey! those first 5 Forest fixtures, Newcastle, West Ham, Everton, Spurs, City.
Welcome to the PL with that baptism of fire.

I'd rather be in the PL than the Championship.
We are now playing at a level where there is little interest outside of the actual clubs involved.

I think most of us would. However to be fair I had little interest in the Premier league other than our opponents form and our position in it. City or Liverpool… who kin cared, really?

As much as I like the derby games with 'that lot' I'd rather be looking forward to games against the so called big 6.
Even last season we showed we CAN play against them without fear (we didn't even roll over against City), and could quite easily have beaten Liverpool and Manyoo at home.
Still, roll on Wigan.

Personally I'll look forward to Preston and Blackpool away far more than another humping at the Etihad.

Think you’ve missed my point. It may be my wording. The Premier League was interesting WHEN it involved Burnley, I had little interest in the league itself other than Burnley position, next opponents and staying in it. I hope we bounce straight back, I want Burnley at the highest league position they can achieve.Juan Tanamera wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 3:09 pmMe, I did.

Totally agree with you. I’ll miss the big games next season.Juan Tanamera wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 3:09 pmMe, I did.

At least I wasn’t up early this morning sorting out the fixtures but I’ve still got that to come next week.

I'm happy we're having a year off from that boreathon. Nice to have a refresh before we have to get back into that circus in 2023.

Breaking news:
Each team plays each other team twice, once at home and once away.

Re: Premier League fixtures: 2022-2023
I think that’s where a lot of our fan base is split down the middle, I literally couldn’t care less about other fans being interested, I just enjoy watching Burnley with my mates, zero interest in what the world thinks of us or our style of play.
Completely understand those that want to see us against the top 6 though and I’d not disagree with their views, it’s just not for me, I don’t enjoy the games most of the time.
