Where is Sean going to pop up?
Weirdly I haven't heard any rumours of Sean Dyche being linked to another club. Has anyone else?
Perhaps he is waiting for the sack race to kick in once the season starts or is it something to do with his termination agreement?

No available jobs. He’ll pop up at Stoke or something when they pot their manager.

Surely if he is that well regarded in the game, someone would have been potted for him already?

Everton when Frank gets the boot as surely he will.
Re: Where is Sean going to pop up?
I have been thinking exactly the same thing. When is Sean, our best manager for a long time, going to pop up again. I wonder if he will get the luck that Eddie Howe has? You know the guy whose wife couldnt live in the north and craved for Sandbanks.

Everton is a good shout. It will probably be a premiership side. Although some people on this site don’t rate him, most of the football world in Britain do.

Re: Where is Sean going to pop up?
No me neither, I'm more concerned about matters at BFC, what our ex players or managers choose to do is their business.
This obsession with what SD will or won't do bores me rigid, the guy did his job well and was equally handsomely rewarded for it.
Now let's see what a fresh approach in Vincent Kompany can offer us.

Re: Where is Sean going to pop up?
It won’t be Everton and I doubt it will be the Premier League until less it’s a Big Sam “try and save us”
mission.
If he was going to get a big job like Everton it would have happened when he had us in the top 7.
Have you ever seen a clamour from fans of any premier league team with a vacancy say “we’ve need to get Dyche”….no me neither.

Re: Where is Sean going to pop up?
Just can’t see a Premier League team taking him. Think his “style of play”, even though a little unfair at times, and probably more so if he had better players at his disposal, will stop owners taking a punt on him.
My feeling is a Championship Club, and he’ll have to win promotion to manage in the Premier League again..

Re: Where is Sean going to pop up?
That's worth a tenner of even my money. Anyone know the odds ?
Re: Where is Sean going to pop up?
My guess would be a mid-table Championship team. I can't see any PL team taking a risk on a manager whose last 18 months results were the worst in the entire EFL.

Re: Where is Sean going to pop up?
It really p!sses me off the disrespect SD gets from the moaning minnies. Twice he got us promoted playing some wonderful football with plenty of goals and sound defence. He gets us into the PL where our players are not of the highest quality goes pragmatic and makes us hard to beat and they bleat even more. If he’d played a more open style we’d have been a yo-yo team like the baggies or Fulham. They’d have had him sacked for getting relegated again.

When you stick "moaning minnies" in your post you really shouldn't expect to be taken seriously.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 10:56 pmIt really p!sses me off the disrespect SD gets from the moaning minnies. If he gets no PL offers - which is hugely unlikely - he’d be ideal for someone like N Ireland

The Championship year, barring the odd great performance, we just out muscled everyone by being bigger and stronger right across the pitch. It wasn’t pretty to watch but it was very effective.
I think the later stages of this season showed that there was no need at all for us to be so negative in our play.

Why do people keep repeating this bs story? his Mum was seriously ill, pretty sick to joke and make up bullshit about. Howe's wife probably never moved up North.

Big fan of SD and what he did for us but we did not play wonderful football in the second promotion season, the exception from memory being Brentford away. We grinded it out, got results and did what needed to be done.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 10:56 pmIt really p!sses me off the disrespect SD gets from the moaning minnies. Re: Where is Sean going to pop up?
He will have had plenty of offers but, I suspect they will have had limitations ( budget, role, wage, authority etc) which hasn't proved attractive enough.
I don't see him as a fire fighter either along the lines of big Sam.
He's a massive believer in pre season.

Why on Earth would Sean go to Derby? It's a car crash waiting to happen. Surely if Rooney couldn't put up with the mess any more, then Sean won't want to go near it either?

Re: Where is Sean going to pop up?
Depends how his pay-off works. Don't some managers keep getting paid their severance until they take a new job? I don't know what the deal is for Dyche, but it's possible he won't work until his bumper contract would have expired, or at least close to that. Certainly nobody below mid-table Prem would pay the same as what we were doing.
Punditry seems more likely for the next couple of seasons.

He’s far better than the Derby job. Can still see him at WBA. Fans haven’t really taken to Bruce and he’ll be under pressure to get results.
