2022/23: Watford v Burnley – Ticket Information
Re: 2022/23: Watford v Burnley – Ticket Information
hmmm, not the Watford game...
...but I have just received the additional ticket I ordered in the post this afternoon for the Luton game... On Saturday I was OK to use the Ticket Wallet in the club App for the QR code, but this shows there is a massive failing occurring in the ticket office.

Still not received my tickets, have been calling the ticket office all day (and week) and spoken with someone on reception who said they would drop a note at the TO for someone to call me back. I've left messages on the TO answer machine and had no contact back. Hopefully it's sorted soon but I'm starting to lose faith tbh

and just like that the TO calls me back
Re: 2022/23: Watford v Burnley – Ticket Information
The thing that annoys me most of all is that I called into the ticket office on Monday rather than buy online because I knew there wasn't much time if the ticket had to be posted out to me.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 3:24 pmLeisure deals with all the ticketing issues for Burnley FC Supporters Groups and I can confirm he’s pulling his hair out at such a rate that he’ll soon be as bald as me.
However even though they had the tickets there, they wouldn't let me have it, saying that tickets have to be posted with no explanation offered.
How strange!

Lucky you! I'm still awaiting a call from them after leaving 3 messages! Now resorted to emailing them.

So did you actually manage to purchase a ticket but they were having to post it to you??? Or would they not even sell you one?Targetman wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 7:53 pmThe thing that annoys me most of all is that I called into the ticket office on Monday rather than buy online because I knew there wasn't much time if the ticket had to be posted out to me.

I didn't think that I would be able to make the game, then around the middle of last week I found that I would be able to go. I went on the club website to buy a ticket but saw the message that they had sold out, the same message was there for the next few days.
Then on Monday this week I read on this site that tickets were on sale again. As I mentioned on my previous post because of the short turnaround time I decided to go to the ticket office rather than buy online.
The lady who served me was adding on to the price £1 for postage, I said.....but its not being posted, I'm collecting now.
She then told me that wasn't possible, she couldn't give to me over the counter as all tickets had to be posted.
She went on to say that it would be sent 1st class on Tuesday so I would receive it on Wednesday.
I told her that this was very strange and asked why I couldn't have the ticket there and then.
She repeated that the tickets HAD to be posted but couldn't offer an explanation.
It was all a bit bizarre to say the least, but what choice did I have?
The postman came around 9am this morning but no ticket. I tried contacting them all day after that without any success.
Around 3.30pm I had a second conversation on the phone with someone on reception. This lady took all my details and said she would ensure they were passed on to the ticket office.
Just after 4pm a short message was left on my voicemail saying that I should collect my ticket at the Watford stadium.
No explanation or indication as to where I should collect it from.
Its really, really poor from the club, and this follows on from my Huddersfield ticket being sent to the wrong address.

I've asked the TO for comments on this situation.

Good look getting a reply. The ticket office is useless now. I presume this must be coming from higher up. I wonder why they are making things more difficult and awkward for us fans? Strange for a football club to be pushing fans away from attending games but what do I know. The club must be doing really well if they don’t need fans. Pace must be doing a sterling job. I was going to go Preston but not going to bother now as it isn’t worth the hassle.
