Purchasing home shirt online

Post by MiltonKeynesClaret93 » Sat Jul 30, 2022 9:44 am

Morning all,

Just a pointer if you're buying the new home shirt. Classic Football Shirts are selling it online on their own site and it's free shipping, as opposed to £5 on the club site for the same service.

They are also selling it cheaper

£49.99 instead of £50 from the club ;)

You can from the club (well you could yesterday)

Don’t know if CFS do personalised printing though

I had a disappointed nephew yesterday, they had sold out when we arrived at 2.30pm yesterday.
They are expecting the next stock to be in on Tuesday.

What’s the sizing like with the new shirt? Wanna get the badges on the arm so can’t get the wrong size

I haven’t ordered mine yet but I’ve heard it’s a little tighter than last seasons? And CFS recommend a size up for a slightly looser fit.

I didn’t think much difference in the body of the shirt but the sleeves are tighter

Just ordered the home shirt online with Twine printing. I am expecting a lot from him once he is fully match fit. I also bought the 1980 away Umbro shirt from the classics range which is a beauty. Can’t wait for them to arrive. Have to wear last season’s top on holiday now which is fine bar the Weghorst printing :x

My son was equally disappointed. I find pretty poor that the kids shirts (11/12 and 13/14) were sold out on day one really.

And the goalkeeper kits (even the home one) are being launched separately. But they don’t know when.

Seems it is due to global supply chain issues. Sheffield United even haven’t released any of their kits yet. Their fan forum is in melt down because of it. Also other teams are still waiting for their away kits. Not the club’s fault.

Do we have an away kit yet? Or are we just going to use last seasons?

Ordered mine online on Friday, paid £7.50 for express next day delivery and not only has it not arrived or any email confirmation come through but they’ve managed to charge me twice…

How is the quality of the shirt? I'd like to buy it on Saturday, though I haven't bought a shirt early-doors since the first Errea one nigh-on fell apart within a few weeks.

Not received my new one just yet, still waiting for Royal Mail, but last season's shirts have come out of several washes looking perfect. Sponsors still intact, no peeling, bobbling etc. Just follow the instructions as usual (30 degree wash, inside out, put to dry immediately, don't iron/tumble dry etc.

Interesting to see that CFS can do international delivery for 8 quid whereas the club charge a flat 15 quid.

I went down on Friday with my 7 year old at 2ish and they'd sold out. Was told then that they'd be in first thing Tuesday (today) so was down at 10am to be told they're now due in tomorrow.

Disappointment for him on Friday and then again today!

They said Tuesday to me too, nephew has been counting down the days.
Best to contact them before you set off, they responded to my email this morning saying they haven’t been delivered and expect them in tomorrow.
