They're not all that aerially so THB and Taylor is probably the best bet again, Taylor's recovery pace could be key for dealing with their counter attacking threat.
Yes I agree. If I had to put money on our starting eleven right now it would be something like
Muric
Roberts, THB, Taylor, Maatsen
Cork, Cullen
Benson, Brownhill, Costelloe
Barnes
Hopefully we have a quick striker in that could possibly start up top

That front three is a country mile the best in the league.
Really surprised they have managed to keep them all
Easy to keep when the owner owns 3 clubs and can probs afford to keep paying them prem wages

Real mixed bag from both teams.
Watford look lively up top, but poor in the middle and the back.
West Brom look in need of a striker, Wallace has looked excellent and his deliveries could cause anyone a problem.
They both look big physical sides again, with some real strong lads in their side, which we are going to have to work on. We need to keep that ball moving faster than them, because if it becomes a rumble, I don't think we'd win it.

Our clever movement around the box can hurt them but Watford’s front three are scary. Man City style strategic fouling when we lose the ball will be key. Surely Richardson must be on the bench on Friday? A Dyche style team would have a field day but we are nowhere near as physical as the Baggies.

Only on the one appearance, but if Watford play like this on Friday, not saying we'll win, but surely we'll create plenty of chances then it all depends if we take them.

We entered into in some inadvisable games of head tennis with Luton, there was only ever going to be one winner in those.

We need to get back to playing like the first half against Hudds. My concern is that we’ll be bullied, they are a big strong athletic outfit but if we can get our passing going we'll have a chance.

Sarr scored from 60 yards and misses from 12. Shocking pen!

being the keeper with that Sarr lob must be like what it's like to be parachuting to the ground and then it doesn't open..... you just know you're ..... in trouble

I simply don’t get how professional players can’t run up to it and put their foot through the ball. Should be fined 2 weeks wages for being a tw@t.

Very consistent performer & would’ve been a good signing. Found his level though. Not sure I’d want him on the books for four years.

Great result for us, that. Points shared and both teams can be dissatisfied with their performances for different reasons.

23 games played in the league so far and we're still by some distance holding the high water mark from everything I've seen so far. If we win on Friday we'd better get our jetpacks on because we're going to the moon!

Oh, just to add, we've been talking of these three opening games as a marker of where we're at, even Kompany has been talking of three, but Hull next Tuesday is a big one, too. They are an interesting side this season, we should probably be talking of four games, because they are going to be up there, I feel. New owner, some very interesting transfer business done by them and they still to want to spend more.

Given that we are building from a near zero base and haven't yet finished, not losing ground is vital early on. We haven’t. Well, not to anybody with the slightest hope of promotion anyway.
These weren’t hard opening fixtures but not easy either. The next two games are really important, another 4 points and it is looking really good. Won’t be easy though on Friday.

Watford fans not happy with their team and recruitment. Interestingly Dennis and Sarr getting some pelters on twitter for their performances and looking disinterested.
I was a bit apprehensive about Friday’s match but feeling much more confident of a result after watching them last night.
If he plays the same team / formation then Cullen, Cork and Brownhill will dominate the midfield, which was really poor.

I enjoyed watching that. A very entertaining match between two teams that know what they are doing.
WBA were the better team, playing it around well with a lot of talent, trickery and some pace. Watford seem a one trick pony but pretty effective if allowed. WBA on the whole managed them well.
The player that most impressed me was WBA defender Semi Ajayi. Solid, pacy and quite skillfull.

My mate is a Watford fan and they are a team I've always kept an eye on. Opinions of their team vary (as is the case with any set of fans) but the consensus is that Sarr and Dennis are very inconsistent and don't seem team players. Last season I watched them a few times and their front 3 had little interest in working for each other.
However, they could be the best front 3 in the Championship if they click. I think it was quite well summed up last night, flashes of brilliance at times but then flashes of awful.
The fans worry about their midfield and aren't convinced about their defence. Their most creative player (and my favourite) is Pedro and he was playing deeper than normal to help out.
In a way they are set up well for us, they couldn't deal with a high press and their forwards were reduced to trying to beat every man on the break or do a flick. There's also a strong expectation that Sarr or Dennis will be off soon (this week would be good).
Of course now I've typed this then expect the opposite on Friday!

Excellent result for us, and if we win Friday we'll hit the top for a few hours at least.
2 games in and only Rovers have maximum points, that sums up precisely how competitive the Championship will be again this season.
