Hopefully Richardson can stay injury free and get more games under his belt.
Do you think Jackson is a permanent member of the first team squad now Tony?

12 people, my memory may well be failing me but it often felt like there were at least 100 people in the Bob Lord when reserve games used to be on the Turf. Credit to you Tony, that's some serious commitment going all that way to watch them

Good to see the club isn’t being blamed now for the £5
There does at times seem a desire to apportion blame even when facts aren’t known

Believe Jackson is now part of the first team set up - Farrell in charge of the u21s and Adam helping out is how I think it is just now.Suratclaret wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 3:30 amHopefully Richardson can stay injury free and get more games under his belt.

Good for Richardson to bag again, and he'll surely make the bench at Watford.
We could do a lot worse than get Charlie Adam on board with our youth set-up, especially if we're looking to implement Kompany's passing style throughout the age groups.
Not unduly fussed about results at this stage, and it shouldn't be a surprise given the heavy turnover in personnel.

Disappointing given our lack of striking options presently.

Re: ARTICLE: Charlie Adam and a Danish defender for a fiver
Probably no surprise to see Phillips and Dodgson missing, given both were on the bench this weekend, and presume will be this Friday again, presuming there isn’t a raft of new signings.
I know Tucker has been working with the first team, but so has Helm, Richardson and McGlynn and they were still picked, so that’s an odd one.
Perhaps Armstrong is injured? Hadn’t seen anything to suggesting he’s been with the first team.
Bedeau disappeared completely. Presume he’s been told he can go. You might also have thought that Thomas might have got a game to help keep/put him in the shop window ahead of a loan move.
So much of this is just supposition; it’s beyond frustrating that we don’t get any updates from the club about anything outside the first team squad.

Seeing Jackson’s job is advertised on the Burnley Website it looks unlikely he will return to.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 8:59 amBelieve Jackson is now part of the first team set up - Farrell in charge of the u21s and Adam helping out is how I think it is just now.

Good spot Blondeclaret - confirms what I was told that he's now with the first team and also that Charlie Adam is helping out at the moment.Blondeclaret wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 1:56 pmSeeing Jackson’s job is advertised on the Burnley Website it looks unlikely he will return to.

Lovely, old school approach to recruiting. Would have thought Kompany would have had someone he knew in there.Blondeclaret wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 1:56 pmSeeing Jackson’s job is advertised on the Burnley Website it looks unlikely he will return to.
