Still expected to be around the late 20’s at kick off time.

Not a bad thing we now play possession based football, hopefully we can tire them out chasing the ball and then throw on some quality and pace later in the game.

Hopefully another 2-1 victory..

Yes that though also crossed my mind, and if you let the ball do the work, then usually opportunities will arise later in the game as your opponents tire.

It’s hot down here. My car was showing 34C in the shade at about an hour ago. Fluids at Spoons and maybe Oddfellows required!

Are you allowed to bring a clear plastic bottle of water into games or will I have to pay Β£8.50 for one in the ground?

They can have the lid...

I think they should just take the lid but not too sure.

It would be 35 / 36 degrees if we were playing tomorrow afternoon. 28 will still be warm and the sun will set so I know I’d prefer to play this evening.

It does raise a question: Has a match ever been called off because the temperature was too high?

You do wonder if our game will have water breaks tonight, I know the PL are reintroducing them for the weekend games, so I guess it'll be down to the referees discretion whether we have them tonight or not,but it wouldn't surprise me if we did.

BBC forecast 28c at 8pm, falling to 26c an hour later.

There are always water breaks every time someone takes a knock and falls to the ground.

Taking a bottle of chilled water with me. I'll finish it off at the turnstile if they don't want me to take in.

Setting off shortly from south west London as soon as I've found the parking I've pre-booked.

UTC
