Grimshaw got 149 and Rammy won by 92 runs so that last six overs was just about the difference.

3 centuries and a half century in 5 cup games this season.

A record breaking score of 149 for a final.

Well played Kieran Grimhsaw, that’s a phenomenal effort.

I attended as a neutral and it was excellent entertainment played in what appeared to be the right spirit. Rochdale lost it in the final 12 overs of the Rammy innings when they kind of fell apart a bit possibly due partly to the intense heat and also some excellent batting. Dale played their part by making a decent fist of the reply and the very young lad who got 50 for them and fielded superbly deserves special mention.

Lost interest when the best top sides like Nelson and Colne were knocked out.
