Re: Wigan v Burnley match thread
I think we need to be sensible with subs this game now, unlike v Blackpool. Needless bringing more youngsters on when leading 3-1.
Consider Lowton for Vitinho possibly for the last 15.

VAR in Prem would probably give a pen on Tella every game.
Unless it was for us, obviously.

On the plus side with 11-3 shots against us we have sorted the clinical element.

Re: Wigan v Burnley match thread
Phil Bird has so far called their pen as outside the box and Tella’s goal as clearly onside, he must have a bad view of things.

Possession well down. Passing down but shots to goals magnificent.

Must admit I thought he was played onside. I meant for the goal, not the open play jus then

Tella flagged off, and he was more onside than he was for his goal!

The replay wasn't even down the line and you could tell he was offside.

Ref knows he's made a mess of it letting our 3rd stand, we'll get nothing out of him now as he tries to balance it out

I’ve questioned Roberts often recently, great today IMO. Far better in possession.

Fantastic move, great run from Jay, great play from Churlinov and he just puts it wide.
Looks a player - he is penetrative, direct and confident. I like what I see.
