Chelsea supporting mate said his wife left him over the summer and he’s been basically having a mid life crisis hence how miserable he’s been lately.
Yeah..he's so miserable he's taken up with a Brazilian super-model !! As I say, I feel he has deliberately been playing for the big pay-off and chance to relocate.

He's done well for himself snaring her, wonder what it was about the internationally known millionaire football manager that attracted her to him 🤔

I really rate Graham Potter and think he is a top manager.

Not sure how long he will last at Chelsea though no matter how good he is

Sorry, I meant between Tuchel and Rodgers, the way Leicester have been and Rodgers overall demeanor I was fairly sure he would've gone before anyone else
Agree completely. Parker and Rodgers both spoke like they were desperate for a pay up.

Tuchel always comes across as an extravagantly unpleasant and petulant man. Still seems bonkers to be sacked like this though.

Potter to Chelsea will have a certain irony for Brighton's fans.

Since the majority of them transferred their allegiance the opposite direction when the Tony Bloom era got into it's swing.

They stated on the teatime news that Chelsea have paid £100m in compo to get rid of their managers early, that figure is crazy, and also goes to show precisely how highly paid that gig is.

It’s notable that several “unknown” managers have progressed after being employed by Swansea in recent years

Cooper
Potter
Rodgers
Martinez

Yes, both BBC sport and the Guardian reporting that GP has "verbally agreed " to become Chelsea's new boss.
Personal terms yet to be agreed.
Mirror saying Potter has cancelled his scheduled Brighton press conference for weekend.

So it seems it's a goer.

Nice work if you can get it. Will he be able to manage the massive egos that abound there ?

I wonder, time will tell.

He'll be negotiating his severance pay now.

5 years...

At least he'll be well paid off in a few months time.

Best of luck to him ofc but it doesn't seem that they'll be hanging around waiting for results

Will be interested to see how Potter's career goes once he's inevitably sacked.

Nothing against Potter btw, he's clearly a good coach/manager but there isn't much recent history of managers with similar experience succeeding at clubs like Chelsea.

A fair few with much better CVs have failed as well, of course.

I feel like i'd be on the wind up with Brighton fans, considering their general attitude to us, however it all feels a bit too Coyle to Bolton so i find myself feeling quite empathetic to the pricks
