Watched on tv and thought he was half decent.

Got in the way a fair bit so positioning needs working on. He also seemed to give up on booking players the longer the game went on, which is unusual and inconsistent.

But he was decent. Don’t think he was excellent but he had a decent game.

Rowls, you said that he got in the way a fair bit, however, all referees are guilty of that these days because players are playing backwards and sideways passes rather than trying to go forward.
As a referee you are expecting the team in possession to move forward, sadly, the modern game no longer does this because they regard possession as much more important than scoring goals. Bring back the 1960s when football was great to watch and had some really decent players and officials.

Best referee we've had this season, by a distance too

Thought he did well.

The elbow on Cork possibly the only thing amiss.

I think that there was a lot of frustration in the stands around him not getting on top of some of the more robust challenges on our quicker players. It felt like he got quite a bit of stock from the fans which seems a lot different to those who watched on TV

Don’t they give yellow cards for a deliberate pull back when the attacker has got past?

Very good but he could have protected Benson a bit more. They used different players to chop him so totting up never came into play.

A 18
B 22
C 24
D 22

Thought he was very good indeed, but I have marked him down in the first category because Robbie Brady committed five fouls at least and escaped without a yellow card, when in fact, he was literally just spoiling our play. The referee allowed a little too much of that I felt, even taking into consideration that it was a derby match

How did Brady escape a booking in that game? Every foul he made was cynical.

Possiby but with the refs we've had it's a very low bench mark!

Thought he was OK but zero consistency as usual and very keen to not give a red card.

Wasn’t happy with his time keeping. Eight substitutions in the second half and the trainer on for Taylor and Tella but just three minutes injury time. After the eight minutes against WBA it just shows the inconsistency on how much injury time is added.

The only downside was his reluctance to show the card more. Preston got away with too much, but other than that OK.
