Huddersfield
Latest managerial sacking.
Re: Huddersfield
I could see a certain Northamptonshire based gentleman being a good fit there!

Re: Huddersfield
Dyche is better than that imo
Re: Huddersfield
I thought Wilder might be on his way after last night, even though they pulled two goals back. Now Boro would be a good fit for SD, think he’d get the Chairman’s backing.

Re: Huddersfield
He was there in the company of the chairman a couple of matches ago, so quite likely.
As far as Dyche speculation is concerned; why would he give up a nice lucrative monthly payment at this stage? Unless of course he could negotiate a nother good lucartive severance package should the worst happen.

Dyche certainly won't be taking a pay cut to manage any championship club or any other for that matter

Re: Huddersfield
I don't think Dyche has the bottle to take on another struggling Championship side to try and get them promoted like he did with Burnley. Reckon he's best suited to scrapping for survival in the Premier League where he can shirk the blame if things goes wrong like he has tried to do with us.

Re: Huddersfield
Think Dyche will end up in the media, MOTD, as he might have had enough of actually managing. He’s a good pundit or at least was briefly on Sky pre Clarets. Good on him.
Re: Huddersfield
The longer Dyche stays unemployed, the harder he’ll find it to get a job.

Re: Huddersfield
8 or 9 million. He must really be suffering. He would walk into some jobs. Look at Southgate. How did he manage to get the job he has? Well he says the right things in the right tone of voice. Pity he didn't make the right subsitutions for the penalty shoot out in the first major final Englands men have been in since 1966.

Re: Huddersfield
No great surprise Huddersfield potted their new gaffer, but what exactly did they expect when they've sold 2/3 of their better players.
It would be no surprise if Bruce and Wilder swiftly followed him out of the exit door. And Rob Edwards must be growing nervous as Watford have won only 1 of their last 7.

Southgate does more than just say the right things, especially as he's the first manager since 1966 to get us into a major finalStayingup wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 9:10 am8 or 9 million. Re: Huddersfield
Watford finding it not as easy to win without their really good premier league players
Puts our complete rebuild into a much better context for example
Hasn't bothered Norwich, but then again its questionable if they have any premier league quality players

Ok, cool if that's the angle you're going to take and the axe you wish to grind then crack on, there's little point debating it with you

Watford kept Sarr but he’s sulking apparently and went off ‘injured’ before HT.Lancasterclaret wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 9:48 amWatford finding it not as easy to win without their really good premier league players

Re: Huddersfield
Norwich always do this when they drop to the Championship, it is strange how they can seemingly easily win games at this level, yet they are totally out of their depth in the PL the ultimate definition of a yo-yo club.Lancasterclaret wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 9:48 amWatford finding it not as easy to win without their really good premier league players

Watford started well, but since losing Dennis have really hit the buffers.
Re: Huddersfield
As Lancaster suggests, Norwich do well in the Championship and then babba in the Prem because on the whole they have Championship players.
Would take Sargent from them, he'd be good for us.

Re: Huddersfield
I would add Bruce to the list and WBA is where I see Dyche coming back as a manager.tiger76 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 9:14 amNo great surprise Huddersfield potted their new gaffer, but what exactly did they expect when they've sold 2/3 of their better players.

Sulk then.. He's just picked Maguire and three right backs. He's fairly clueless.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 10:20 amOk, cool if that's the angle you're going to take and the axe you wish to grind then crack on, there's little point debating it with you
