Muric - 7 not much to do but made a couple of good saves
Vitinho - 9 What a singing for less than 1 million quid!
Harwood-Bellis - 8 class young player is this lad
Beyer - 8 not bad having an England and Germany U21 as a centre half pairing! Both good defenders and equally good on the ball
Maatsen - 8 what a cross for the first goal
Cullen - 7 unsung hero in that role and has a pass in him. E.g. Assist for the 4th.
Cork - 8 despite all the young signings he is an absolute ‘must keep fit’ for as long as possible. Ran the show all afternoon
Tella - 9 they had no answer to him other than pull him back
Zaroury- 9 this lad looks like a real player! Both footed, pace, skilful, and end product today
Rodriguez - 9 much like Cork - ‘must keep fit’ for as long as possible.

Gudmundsson - 7 tidy, nothing more, but more to come from him

Harwood-Bellis 8 - dealt with two top Championship forwards and displayed the same composure in possession
Beyer 8 - quick, reads the game well and supremely confident on the ball
Maatsen 9 - outstanding ball for the opener and generally a threat all game
Cork 8 - cruise control yet again
Cullen 9 - the amount of running he does is no joke, second assist in 2 games
Tella 9* - they didn’t have any answers aside from foul
Brownhill 8 - dynamic again, doesn’t stop
Zaroury 9 - really impressive after a difficult debut last week and well taken goal
Jay 9 - two goals, 7 in 10 now for him?

Cork 9* The best central midfielder in the league. We were slow for the first ten minutes. All of a sudden he seemed to drag us up the pitch. Won the ball, played it to the left, set the move going for the first goal.

Cullen 8 Some excellent passes down the channels. His positioning off the ball is brilliant too. Fills the gaps.

Muric 7 - very little to do, smart save in the first half albeit it may have gone wide. Distribution good.
Vitinho 8 - another very good game. Ghosted in at the back post for the first and a great run pulling players out of position and opening them up for the second. Defended solidly also.
THB 7 - untroubled and some nice distribution.
Buyer 7 - another who was very much untroubled and used the ball very well.
Maatsen 8 - great ball for the first goal and a couple of sublime touches.
Cullen 7 - very accomplished performance and a lovely pass for the 4th.
Cork 8 - reads the game so well in there. Always one step ahead of the opponent.
Brownhill 7 - good energy throughout and picked up some dangerous positions. Unlucky with his shot in the first half (great save from their keeper).
Tella 9*- his pace absolutely terrified Swansea today. Excellent pavement and pressing throughout. Deserved a goal.
Zaroury 9 - his feet are incredible. Great to see him get a goal and an assist, their defenders will be having nightmares about him and Tella today.
Jay 9 - a very clever performance. He and Cork really are pivotal for us.

Gudmundson 7 - good, solid performance without ever looking overly threatening.

In the early stages I thought Swansea were really going to give us a game. But the way they pressed on us left them wide open to.our counter attacks, particularly with Tellas pace. A fantastic performance all around, and a joy to watch today.

Muric 8 good stop down to his left in the first half, untroubled otherwise. Caught a nice one under his bar, good to see.

Vitinho 9 made that position his the last two games

Harwood-Bellis 9 dominant and his passing into feet is superb

Beyer 9 really comfortable on the ball, like THB, and just as strong

Maatsen 8 much more like it, some of the balls he fizzes in are beauts

Cork 9 Rolls Royce deluxe

Cullen 9 really set the tone and the pace of our press, used the ball really well and a lovely through ball for Jay's 2nd. Best he's played this season.

Brownhill 8 worked as hard as ever and managed to find some good pockets of space. Godawful set pieces.

Tella-Baby 9 good grief he was great

Zaroury 9 lol that we've got this lad, we've potentially some player on our hands here

Rodriguez 9 his second was top movement and a top finish, shame he didn't bag the 3rd he deserved. Keep him fit and he'll fire us to promotion. Lol at those who wrote him off.

Gudmundsson 7 really good movement, we just went the other way too often. Some lovely touches and crisp passing.

High marks yes but you won't see a more comprehensive victory this season, against what looked to be a half decent side for this league. Bar the first 10 mins we just didn't let them play. They couldn't handle our press and when they pressed us we worked it around and found our own openings.

This is how the possession style is meant to be; work the openings and the move the ball quickly up the pitch. I've said for a while that it still hasn't fully clicked. Well today it has. We're the best team in this league. And we still look like we can get better.

We were f**king brilliant all over the pitch

A complete performance against a team that was bang in form

Keep this level of performance up and we will have a great season

Muric 7 - solid, but not a lot to to
Vitinhio 9* - Huge fan of Roberts, but he's been brilliant here last two games
THB 9 - cool and excellent passing and positioning
Beyer 9 - as above
Maatsen 9 - outstanding
Tella 9 - pressing, pace, scared Swansea to death and they couldn't handle him
Cullen 9 - great assist and super use of the ball
Brownhill 8 - very solid
Cork 9 - An absolute Rolls Royce at this level
Zaouory 9 - as has been already said, how on earth have we managed to buy this lad? Looks ridiculously talented
Jay 9 - keep him fit, and he's far too good for this league

As complete a performance you will see, from quality on the ball and really high press of it. Cullen typified it today, quality on the ball but absolutely relentless of it.

If I was picky, you could look at little errors from individuals today, but it wouldn't be fair.
Every player contributed positively today, a great team performance.

Tella was my mom, unplayable at times today. I hope Saints fans continue to think he's not good enough.

Not wanting to take any gloss of today, but the reason we looked so good, and scored 4, is because Swansea, at least until the sending off, tried to come out and play. They paid the price for it, but so much better than watching teams keep 10 men behind the ball, until the 85th minute.

Over an hour of that was simply great to watch...weve won the last 14 championship games that I've been to...but that was the best of the lot.
Regardless of the division we're playing in, that's the best we've been at Turf Moor since at least the mid 70s if not even further back.

Not bothering to mark it... But a mention in despatches for Cork, Beyer and THB.

Excellent performance all round. Didn’t look likely in the first few mins but more pace and purpose today. The wingers and full backs were superb and caused them all kinds of problems.

Absolutely superb performance, if that's a sign of things to come, it will be an exciting season

Muric 8 - Hard to rate him, but did everything asked of him
Vitinho 9 - We look more fluid with him at RB
Harwood-Bellis 9 - Absolutely imperious
Beyer 9 - So so calm on the ball, I'm less worried with him in the team
Maatsen 9 Ran their right side ragged
Cork 9 - Just a joy to watch
Cullen 8 - Solid, put a lot of effort in plus an assist
Brownhill 8 - Unlucky not to score, again was all over the place
Zaroury 9 - Just seems to have the x factor, could be a key player for us
Tella 9 they simply could not handle him
Rodriguez 9 led the line well

Gudmundsson 7 - did ok but the game was over by then

We were a joy to watch today, top of the league, more to come, Westy, Twine and Churlinov to come back in, good times.

What an enjoyable afternoon.

Muric - 7 - very steady, with one excellent, potentially defining save at 0-0, although he'll learn quickly that the wind at Turf Moor can influence a keeper's distribution

Vitinho - 8 - being given more licence than Roberts was but thriving with it. Found space and finished the opener like a forward and heavily influenced the second with his driving run. Defensively pretty solid although he's a bit impetuous at times and got caught too high occasionally as a result.

Maatsen - 8 Gorgeous cross for the opener and well weighted pass to Zaroury for the second. Defensively pretty good.

THB - 7 - steady enough after a slightly frantic first few minutes.

Bayer - 8 - swept up for Vitinho and THB impressively a couple of times early on and generally showed he's adapting very nicely.

Cork - 9 - whatever I've written before applies again. Magnificent.

Cullen- 8 - thrived on the more broken game against a team here for a football match, and was able to play forward effectively as a result, most obviously for the fourth.

Brownhill- 8 - ratted to great effect and moved the ball sharply.

Tella - 9 - no goals or assists but the best player on the pitch. Looks even more comfortable on the right than left to me, had the wing back on toast and even our 4th came from a lung bursting run to chase a lost cause in their left back position. An outrageous touch to add to the collection at 0-0.

Zaroury - 8 - a gem. Two footed (goal and assist with what seems his weaker foot), plays with his head up and can pick a pass, has the pace to beat a man. Its a great combination and committed defenders all afternoon.

Rodriguez- 8 - two well taken goals and linked the game increasingly well as it went on.

JBG - 7 - steady.

Benson - 6 not bad but didn't commit defenders like Zaroury or Tella did.

Bastien - 7 - tidy.

Barnes - 6 - dis nothing wrong and showed intelligent movement a couple of times only for the pass to not quite come.

Two things different here. Firstly the obvious- Swansea came to play and be progressive and went home with the lesson that is a bad strategy against this burnley team, which promises more busses parked in future home games. But secondly- this team, with Vitinho playing a little freer at right back and Zaroury and Tella playing off Rodriguez, looks a better balanced, more fluent template. We'll find out the next time someone parks the bus at Turf Moor but there were promising signs we're becoming a more coherent unit today. Fingers crossed.

It wasn't perfect defensively, but we were far too good for Swansea.

The latter three 8s in the starting 11 is not for one minute a suggestion that they weren’t superb or as good just more a reflection that despite them being superb I’ve seen them be even better than today

Beyer 8 can’t believe he’s so young, opens up the game when he brings it out
Maatsen 8 fantastic, energetic performance, much improved defensively
Cork 8 ticked it over well, strolled through the game
Cullen 8 unsung hero, as spice said he’s brilliant at ratting and he’s adding assists to his game
Brownhill 7 energetic, a couple of nice moments
Zaroury 9 a very exciting player, hope we can keep him for a few seasons. Made the game look easy
Tella 9 not sure what more he could have done. If he’d had scored or assisted he would have a 10. Brilliant performance and I can’t remember the last time we’ve had a player that truly terrified an opponent. Grey againt Sunderland maybe?
