Comments I read from Anderlecht fans about Kompany mentioned that his sides never gave up and came back many times. We are starting to see that now.

Today feels like one of those "name the moment you knew you'd get promoted" games.

Somethings cooking in this team right now. Always thought the World Cup would come at the best time for us but hopefully it doesn’t stop the roll we’re on.

6 huge points in the last few days won by late goals, and that was a trait of our last 2 promotions I seem to recall.

Still need another striker and a dominant cm to really put the icing on the cake
A long way still to go this season but we are actually playing football not hoofball

Deserved win against the most negative and time wasting team I’ve seen this season.
Got what they deserved 🤙

Great to watch. Can be dodgy defensively (see today!) but great to watch and just need to turn possession into chances into goals as at times it really is like watching Man City. (Without the goals!)

A horrible team created in the image of their manager. This will be the most satisfying three points in a long while.

Can’t get my head around how quickly he has got this team together. The work rate, structure
and focus is fantastic.

The consistency of performance is remarkable.

Long may it continue.

Hugely impressive, some incredibly skilful players, tenacious spirit. Attack minded.
Cant ask for more really.
Top of the division is remarkable for such a new team. Its given the fans a treat playing this way.
Bad for the soul to be under the cosh every game in the prem.
I know thats where teams want to get to, but for now its far better in the championship.

1) we are running away with it
2) if we our current points per game ratio, we’ll win the league!
3) this makes every game from now on a ‘must win’ game and I believe we can do it
4) might buy a ‘big vince’ shiny suit, cap and trainers combo to see if I can equally inspire my colleagues at the petrol station
5) that is all

The consistency of results is starting to happen but the injuries are starting to mount up. The World Cup break allows us to recharge batteries and bring back some of the players that will give us a boost as we enter the second half of the season.

Is giving me belief now. Two weeks ago I would have been very concerned at going behind but today I just thought we would have our chances. We play with a patience because our system is one which breaks down opponents over the length of the game and it's working right now. Long may it continue.

It’s great to watch.
Of course there is work to do defensively at times, but we need to remember this team is so new, it’s scary how well it has gelled,

Give me this over the last 2 seasons of Dycheball any day of the week.

It's a real shame the BBC can't be bothered to put a head line about the championship on their football page, particularly to recognise the special thing happening with us 🙁

After waiting 10 years for another creative player like Robbie Blake, we now have a team full of them.

A couple of SD phrases come to mind with the latest win-we won ugly, and tough jaw. Fantastic while it lasts and the "points gained" when losing are starting to outweigh "points given away" when winning. Just grateful we did not play someone like Watford tonight who have the forwards to punish you. The worry tonight was that despite our numerous goal attempts Rotherham could have scored four

Is capable of some ludicrous defending, but I love our play. Per a post above, I shrugged my shoulders at their first goal - even said to my Sunderland boss “that’s the gimme to keep it interesting.” The second goal was just awful because we’re showing our vulnerabilities, but i never doubted we’d get a draw from it, but the win was written right into the script

Maybe this team will get 100 points and score 100 goals and go down in folklore. Something akin to Arsenal’s ‘Invincibles’. Perhaps they’ll be called the ‘Centurions’.
