Ask for a guy called Macca on here.Burnleyrob wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 3:57 pmWho do I get in touch with to see if they like some songs and chants I've written?
He runs the Cricketfield stand and any new songs need the nod from him.
A few people regularly send him videos of them singing songs in the hope of them making it big on the terraces.

He also runs auditions for said chants in the Royal Dyche beer garden between the hours of 1 and 3pm on a weekend matchdayQuickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 10:09 amAsk for a guy called Macca on here.

Extremely busy at the minute with auditions for drummers for a nice little project we are thinking about.
However that said, I am always interested in new ideas and songs, so feel free to post any lyrics or videos of your songs and I'll take a listen.
Me and Mr Pace are meeting up in a few weeks, so the more ideas, suggestions and lyrics the better as far as I'm concerned.

And who can forget his 2019 classic - Garlick Stinks? It made number 2 in the Cricket Field Stand download chart.

Like the drums bit! Went to few Malaga games and this guy was just walking up and down the stairwells of the stands with this big f off drum banging away. The atmosphere was incredible and he varied his drum beat to get the fans chanting different chants.MACCA wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 12:24 pmExtremely busy at the minute with auditions for drummers for a nice little project we are thinking about.

Don't think they'd allow that at the Turf...can always ask...VK keeps saying he likes a loud atmosphere.

You would need a drum machine to knock out the BPM that the CFS deliver songs.....ŽižkovClaret wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 1:59 pmI think at the turf he'd walk up the stand with a drum then come down a lot bloody quicker wearing it

Your username sounds like a drumroll, to be fair.

Re: Burnley chants I've written?
Rightly or wrongly it has been mentioned.
I'm in the "no dummer" camp, however some people are for it, and say it would help keep the rhythm and get other parts of the ground involved.
I can see the point, but not sure it's right at this moment.
Some fans want to create a Palace type atmosphere in the CFS.
