Alex Rea
The assistant to Paul Ince at Reading did this last night during the game against a Luton player, I wonder if Ince cries about the ref not seeing it

Him and Ince are well suited, 2 cheeks of the same arse with a chip on either shoulder

Re: Alex Rea
He needs banning. What’s the difference between a fan doing that and someone else who shouldn’t be on the pitch. Needs the book throwing at him.

He wasn’t on the pitch, but I see your point. Should be dealt with. Won’t be.

Re: Alex Rea
Player is on the pitch, surely that's more relevant than Rea being on the pitch or not!

Re: Alex Rea
He just basically assaulted someone who was on the pitch. Essentially it is not that different to the Forest fan that attacked Billy Sharp with the only difference being the level of force used. I think the fan went to prison. What is the level of punishment that should be applied. I guess we’ll find out but I won’t hold my breath.

Re: Alex Rea
Needs a lengthy touchline ban for that. It's inexcusable.

Re: Alex Rea
Not excusing what he's done and some kind of fine and ban should be coming his way but anyone comparing this to a fan running on the pitch and attacking someone and/or suggesting a similar level of punishment is deserved is for want of a nicer word a complete idiot

Re: Alex Rea
Boom Boom as Basil Brush would have said!
I can think of a few managers/coaches who have been ridiculously hauled over the coals for going out of the Technical Area to offer advice to a referee or assistant referee but this was a deliberate obstruction of a player by someone who should know better. The game is imho too soft these days but this is not acceptable, again imho!

Alex Rae.
Re: Alex Rea
He needs a red card and a touchline ban, not because of the violence of the offence which was mild (it would be a foul by someone playing in the match, but no more) but because any club official that physically interferes with the game has to be removed and made an example of.

Thanks for doing what you always do. Insult someone without adding value to a topic. Well done you are so clever.Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 1:46 pmNot excusing what he's done and some kind of fine and ban should be coming his way but anyone comparing this to a fan running on the pitch and attacking someone and/or suggesting a similar level of punishment is deserved is for want of a nicer word a complete idiot
