Coniston for tomorrow's game
As the title says, I'm in Coniston tomorrow and wondered whether anyone familiar with the area could tell me which/If any pubs would possibly have the game on.
Thanks in advance

Hi. From experience I think you'll be struggling. There's plenty of decent pubs but I don't think any have sky ( I've not been for a year or so though). It looks like the Red Lion in Hawkshead has it..about 3 country miles up the road...

Get yourself to Kendal, plenty of nice pubs and a lot of them have Sky!

There’s the Sports and Social Club. They have telly I think. Might not be open that early but worth ringing them.

Thanks for the info, I'll search out the social club, failing that I'll take a drive to the Red Lion.

The Crown used to have SKY pre Covid, not sure now haven't been for a while. Maybe give them a ring.
If you end up going to Hawkshead, there's a bus from Coniston.

I love Hawkshead. There's a place there called Pussy and Pints (it's basically a pub that is full of cats) but decents for something different. Good quiz nights too.
