Turf Moor Question

Post by Fenwick » Fri Nov 18, 2022 8:25 pm

Bit of a strange question.

I haven't been to a home game for ages and I was wondering if the addition of the disabled corner stands have changed the acoustics in any way. Does it feel more enclosed or stadium-like?

From where I sit (Bob Lord) I can’t say that I’ve noticed the corner stands making any sort of difference in terms of the acoustics. There has definitely been an improvement in atmosphere but this i would put down to a variety of factors; overall team performance, some standout individual performances, a growing array of songs to support the team.

Corners or not, it’s a stadium to me.

Nope we sit in the top tier and still get wet when the rain starts the wind whips right over the top of the stand and into the JM.

Now ive got used to them it looks great imo. Also great that the fans in there have somewhere dry to watch the game finally.
