That’s how many times the crowd chant towards particular players. Of course there are good receptions and bad receptions (+R/-R). It’s a very useful metric to determine player popularity, or PP.

Association Football ...

Soccer is an abreviation of "Association" ... To dissassociate it from Rugby Football (now from American Football) etc etc

RFU = Rugby Football Union

RFL = Rugby Football League

"Soccer" and the term "Soccer" was invented here ...
