Bristol Rovers averaging more away fans in League One than Bristol City in Championship, I know it might help have closer away games but that is a good effort!

Would be nice to see sheff wed in the championship, I'd say the biggest club in 1&2.
The steel city derby is always a great occasion.

That's pretty impressive of our travelling supporters.

Are there any facts relating to our away attendances last season?

How does our average home gate compare with last season?

It’s tough as Premier League clubs don’t usually give the away followings, it’s only in programmes.

I’d posit that we have more attending fans this season than last, regardless of what the figures show. There are certainly more turning up.

Our away figure will probably fall off slightly as we have to go to Swansea, Luton, Millwall, Norwich etc. I know we have Blackburn and Blackpool though.

I don't think it's a coincidence that most of the bottom places in the Away Supporters Table for Leagues 1&2 are made up of former non-league clubs. I guess it's indicative of how difficult it is to establish such clubs long-term in the Football League, particularly when they're located in the close proximity to larger more powerful neighbours.

I actually checked our away average last season and we averaged around 1450 so a substantial jump this year. Home crowds are the same at just over 19000 but home fans must be over a 1000 higher if not more.

Ours was always going to be good with four derbies plus Huddersfield (which is a derby in all but name). Also a good few northern and midlands games. I think Norwich is our longest game in miles due to it being a very awkward place to get to from here. No south coast games helps as well.

We're definitely taking more away this season. Obviously scoring goals and winning games helps, let's face it watching us towards the end of Dyche's time had become a real grind.
More local games in the Championship as well, compared to all the London and South coast clubs in the Prem.

Wednesday are the definition of a ‘Proper Club’ in my mind and I think most Clarets will miss their visits, as well as trips to Hillsborough.

The fixture list is not always kind either...for instance Barrow come to Stevenage on Friday 2nd December for a 7:45 KO! Bonkers.
