Major safety hazard. Somebody at QPR should get severely disciplined for that Mr Hoos

I remember Junior Hoilett falling down it the other year. No idea why it’s still there.

If you also watch their penalty appeal, Thomas slides off the pitch on his back and misses the same hole by about 3 yards.

Bonkers.

Was it the Cameraman Pit that was nearly full of a QPR player when Muric almost gave away the 90 seconds in Penalty

Unbelievable.
In an age when players are being injured being sent into pitchside hoardings there`s a dirty great pit to contend with as well

We're lucky that he wasn't injured by that.

Ref also has a duty of care for player safety - should spot it during pre-match look around and refuse to allow play until covered.

It’s been there every game for about 10 years.

Part of the pit was covered, but a couple of the covers had been removed leaving it exposed. So I’m sure the pit has been there for more than 10 years, but if there’s not a photographer in there it should be covered.

And that’s how it will stay until someone is seriously Injured falling into it.

Obviously that SHOULDN’T be the case, but that’s how it goes sometimes. If that hazard hasn’t been spotted in ten years, they have a problem.

Of course, a ground safety review would identify an issue, maybe even something as basic and simple as a near miss report could solve it, but someone has to do it. And if they don’t, there won’t be a change.

Spot on Riley ... why when the Cameraman moved at 1/2 time was the cover not replaced ... QPR need pulling up on that ...

Made for a good celebration, needed all his balance and low centre of gravity to avoid that one. Can't believe the commentators making light of it, it's borderline criminal from a risk assessment point of view.

In this day that was unacceptable. Whoever is in charge of health and safety at loftus road or whatever it is called this week should be sacked on the spot.

He should've been sent off for that. A two-footed tackle with both feet off the ground hitting Gudmundsson's standing leg was a definite sending-off offence.

In the Prem with VAR he walks for that. No doubt at all. Catches him high on the ankle and both feet off the ground at one point. I've seen worse but it was naughty.
