Re: Winter Photos
Drove down the Blackwater valley from Fermoy this afternoon. The frost on the trees was amazing. Sadly no safe parking areas for taking pictures.
Took these in Lismore for the effect.

Great pic Loyal, brings back happy memories, stood astride 3 counties at the summit and seeing Blackpool tower in the far distance.

These two are pinched as well. Belvelly Castle on Great Island, Co. Cork. The new owner does this every year and they are stunning. Can’t post the videos sadly.

I can see similar from my house Caernarfon, low light pollution. I'm no good at stars though - can I see Jupiter and the Seven Sisters in your pictures?

Following on from above, I've never seen this type of bird before and it was rather large, so do the BFC bird lovers know what it is?

Google Lens says that it's a red shouldered hawk. Threw me for ages as they're not indigenous to the UK but I think you're in the USA, where they do exist

I've no idea about birds except for a few obvious one, it was quite big and I have walked in this park for years and never seen anything like it, it was impressive though.
