It might be too big Carwin ... you may need to reduce the size of the file ... depends on your phone (assuming its a phone you have the files on) ... The file needs to be under 2 mbp

Re: Attachments
Ive had problems also- I think its to do with the size of the photos but Ive never discovered how to condense the photos to a manageable size.
Re: Attachments
I think there's a pretty small size limit. Smaller than the file size that most modern phone cameras generate.

I use this for reducing picture sizes on Android

Re: Attachments
On my Samsung phone in "Gallery" on the picture I press 1 (the pencil) then 2 the 3 dots top right ... this brings up "resize image"

Re: Attachments
Thanks for that Bosscat. We recently bought new phones and have been trying to find how to do these things with them in fact we discussed it just this evening. It seemed simpler on the previous phones but we've got it now. Sometimes this site just delivers unexpectedly.
Cheers Boss.

Re: Attachments
Easy way on an iPhone is to attach the photo to an email sent to yourself, before sending you’ll be asked what size/detail you want to send. Just choose the nearest one under 2 mB. You’ll need to save the new smaller size photo to your photo folder. This can then be attached to an UTC post.
Sounds a bit of a faff but it isn’t really.
p.s. spell checker on my ‘American’ iPhone didn’t recognise the word ‘faff’
