The usual targets for abuse: Barnes, Muric (penalty save), Brownhill and now Robert’s are all making match- winning performances and even Peacock-Farrell has made a come-back. I think it’s even possible that a certain tall Dutch, WC hero could sit in the dug-out (providing he wore a false wig beard and glasses of course).

We were certainly often derided and ridiculed - and maybe on occasions our desire for a regime change manifested itself in a bit of booing.

Under Dychee it often (mostly) felt as if we were bogged down in the muddy trenches subdued by a superior enemy under heavy machine gun fire, with the occasional successful counter attack then pushed back to the strarting position - whereas now (with the shackles removed) the enemy, having been stunned by a new weapon has retreated in terror and we are dancing freely in the sweet scented meadows of a new day.

I agree based on the midfielders we had we were better with Cork in the team. The problem we had the last couple of seasons was than none of our midfielders were good enough and that includes Jack Cork. So yes we were better with Cork in the team but at the same time Cork was very much a part of our teams weak link that IMO ultimately cost us our place in the Premier League

They were singing Robert's name last night so I think he might have won more than a few over. He has played well for the last couple of games and looks, finally, to be enjoying his football. He had a rough year just after he signed where he nearly died but some fans didn't give him the chance to properly recover. Also, this system suits him better and it shows.

You know the one. A non-league keeper having just sat his GCSE's would catch that. I kind of love the bloke for his madness, and with his distribution he's a net positive, but that punch made me quite hysterical for a moment.

I just wanted my club to shake that ugly horrible brexit hoofball tag, I wanted to enjoy watching my team play again. I'm absolutely over the moon with us now, everything I wanted.

I was happy to be the fall guy on here for years, speaking for those who didn't dare to speak out against dire football. I now feel vindicated, look at what we should've been, one of the biggest clubs in the Championship, the largest away following in the division, Vincent Kompany's Burnley, opposition fans no longer complain about how timewasting shithouse and scruffy we are, now we're given plaudits for the football on show.

Kompany has built a really good squad too, often young lads from big clubs are ego maniacs, paid fortunes from a young age and lack hunger. The squad seems to be full of really nice polite young gentlemen. Role models the youth can relate too, I don't think I've seen Tella stop smiling. Maatsen's nice touch at Christmas. Brownhill has done quite alot of community work since joining etc.

I do wonder if he punched to try start a counter attack, he's definitely not 100% confident from high balls, although he did really well to catch a few last night. Give him a few years and I think he'll be a top keeper, he has the most difficult parts down, just needs to cut out the hesitating when a cross comes in.
