Most people head to Boscombe. There's a pub that's always full of Burnley but I can't think of what it's called.

We went in Yelo Bar which is across the main road from the ground.Don't know if it is still there though.

This post is triggering a wave of beer nostalgia.
Out of business now but Eldridge and Pope made Huntsman’s ale the best beer I have ever had.
They had a number of tied houses around Bournemouth.

The Cricketers has always had a few Clarets in on previous visits. Close to ground.

Cricketers and Firkin Shed were the only 2 between the station and the ground on previous visits. Both good beer.

No kids in Firkin Shed.

The larger one nearer the ground is home fans only, and were checking tickets.

It never has been on my numerous visits.

The home fans only is the one much nearer the ground.

It’s the Queens Park Hotel that is no away fans.
No loss, as it’s a dump anyway. It’s on the corner of the road you drive down on the other side of the park to the ground.

Usually end up in Mello Mello on Boscombe High Street, which is where the plod send away fans. It’s awful; a converted old greasy spoon, beer selection terrible, but tend to have football on TV. There are other pubs in Boscombe that are fine, but they are further away from the ground. The Wetherspoons is gone now, though that turned into home fans only towards the end of its days. Marroys is also over the road from Mello Mello.
Looks to have had a bit of a refurb, but still not great. Saw a lot of away fans coming out of there on last trip.

Very tempted to try the Cricketers and Firkin Shed to be honest.

Firkin Shed is a micro pub so not much room in there. There is a Conservative club a bit further up towards the ground on Holdenhurst road that has sometimes had an A board outside welcoming away fans.
