Utter domination
Best team in the league, no question whatsoever - second half was as one sided as you can see in a top of the table clash. Boingers are good and we absolutely battered them in the second half. Outstanding

I really can’t believe what I’m watching at times! We’re a fantastic side! UTC.
Re: Utter domination
We are immense. Soak it in, seasons like this one don't happen all that often.

Totally agree.
Given the quality of the opposition its a comprehensive victory.

It’s just a joy to go and watch at the moment… It has been on season.
Re: Utter domination
I was itching for that 2nd half, we played well in the 1st but I wanted us to batter them come the half time whistle. We did just that. Phenomenal stuff. It's what makes champions.

That second half was just incredible. It was like watching Man City the other night against Spurs. Completely pinned them in, created good chances and scored 2 quality goals.

Incredible team, there aren’t enough superlatives left to describe this team.

It's just dawned on me...
We didn't have Cork
We didn't have THB
This team is amazing. This squad is immense.

That extra bit of tempo did it in the second half. Almost like they were being managed and measured in the first half to take the sting out of the baggies

Re: Utter domination
The way we cranked up the pressure in that second half was something to behold. This was THE form team and we battered them. Stunning stuff.
Re: Utter domination
I only tuned into the BBC football website at half time
and must admit to thinking it wasn't going to be our night.
But what a second half!
As others had said we absolutely battered them
in the second half and so pleased for Twine.
Joyous days at the Turf and so happy for the fans.

Re: Utter domination
They looked very nervous after the equaliser, maybe before. Absolutely magnificent second half.
Re: Utter domination
You can sit there losing against anyone in this league after 75 mins and still fancy us it’s unreal. The attacking talent is unreal I can’t see any reason why they can’t take it up a level in the prem.

Re: Utter domination
And youve to factor in, WBA are a good side & came here on the back of a bloody good run.
The 2nd half, we just kept pushing them back. They couldn't cope. Brilliant to watch.
Looking forward to Sheffield UTDs visit.

Re: Utter domination
We're unplayable. It sounds like such a banal observation but the key to it all is that the ball never stops moving. WBA's team shape for the first hour was as good as ours used to be in our heyday in the PL, but like as happened to us when we came up against the elite PL teams that pass you to death, the movement along every axis of the compass needed to keep that shape out of possession eventually gasses everyone out, so to compensate for the lower energy the opposition plays a narrower and more compacted shape to close the gaps between the lines so there's less energy needed to move the midfield, but then this opens up the wings, which means our wide players come into the game and the opposition is forced to defend more crosses, so in response to this they drop deep and defend the box, and then it's just a matter of being patient, keeping the ball moving and unlocking them. It's a way of playing that is impossible to play against when done well. We've done it a good eight or nine times this season where it's almost an inevitability that we'll smash the door down in the last ten minutes when the opposition are blowing out of their arse.

They did a job on us, 2nd half over there. Deserved their win.
We owe them.

So much young, exciting talent on the pitch and equally on the bench. I enjoy watching this squad so much.

Re: Utter domination
Earlier on in the season I was thinking that although we were playing far better football than previous teams under Dyche that this side would be too naive and get ripped apart in the Prem. But I think we are getting better defensively, notwithstanding the soft goal tonight. That second half really fills me with confidence we could more than hold our own.
