Today's footy 4/1

Post by tiger76 » Sat Feb 04, 2023 12:30 pm

The Dyche reign at Everton starts with him recalling McNeil to the starting XI.

Plenty of protests outside Goodison again, they aren't a happy bunch the Toffees are they.

Sheff Wed-Plymouth a clash of the top 2 in League 1.

Ipswich travel to Cambridge looks at a glance that they are fielding their first XI, so they might change a few for the replay.

The plus of Everton staying up is it increases the chances of Leeds going down.

Lots of Clarets to keep an eye on loan but the only two starters seem to be Egan-Riley for Hibs and Bobby Thomas for the Tykes down at Pompey. Hopefully one or two will come off the bench.

Fixtures to look out for (feel free to add):

Luton vs Stoke (I want us to remain 20 points clear of 3rd)
Boro vs Blackpool (as above)
Reading Watford (as above)

Watching the ManU match. Casemiro has to be the PL signing of the season.
Totally transformed this side from the lazy showboaters they were.

Whatever the outcome at Millwall one of them goes above Wovers, down to 8th.
QPR and Swansea both winning and closing in on them.

Said it last night, but so many of the teams below us are playing bottom half sides week after week of late.

They’ll all have some tough runs to come.

Looking like Liverpool should have hired Dyche. Mr Ed's charges have faltered, even given their injuries. The two very costly strikers have yet to function.
