Just watched last 10 minutes. Dog ****. Has it been this bad all game? Both as bad as each other. Can't believe Rovers avoided a relegation battle this year.

I’m sure James McClean is involved in the same skirmish every single game.

Lang for Wigan is a decent player. He ran Sheff Utd ragged and played well again tonight.

Sums Horse fiddler's up this from BBC Commentary.

It's a scrappy ending to this one as Wigan's James McClean flies in and concedes a free-kick on the right flank.

Blackburn whip the free-kick into the box and Harry Pickering buries it over the bar from distance with an utterly pointless shot.

An effort that bad that, according to our friends at BBC Radio Lancashire, the Blackburn directors box all get up and decide they've seen enough for the evening.

Utter utter rubbish. Revenge will be very sweet when we put 5 or more past them at Deadwood at our “party”

God forbid, but if I was a Rovers fan (yes, I’ll go for a wash when I have posted this) I would be terrified of what our amazing team is going to do to these clueless clowns !

That pitch is very poor for Championship standard, if wet weather continues it will be no better than Covs at the start of the season by the team we play them next month, (if indeed it is on owing to the FA Cup). The pitch was nearly as bad as the game, two very poor sides on show tonight.

That pitch is the only chance I can see they have of beating us.

Remember when they came to the Turf thinking they were going to leave top of the league? Nine games later they’re 21 points behind.

I just hope the players don’t turn up to deadwood thinking it’s gonna be a walkover, the more focused they are, the bigger the hammering we’ll dish out to them!

I can't see VK and CB letting the players turn up 100% ready to dish out a real hammering. You could tell before the game at the Turf that they get it, they thrive off derbies, the lads will be ready no complacency, no errors.

It was just a comment in response to a few posts prior to mine, I expect VK to have them all plugged in and ready to go, and I also suspect we’ll put the m to the sword!

A Kompany team taking a derby for granted is one of the things in life I least expect. It simply will not happen.

I wouldn't watch that lot play, even on tv, but I get pleasure reading of their demise knowing the result. Maybe the Directors left their box early to have a meeting and consider putting their fans in the away end and allocating the rest of the ground for Burnley fans, as a way of generating income. Their fans will be staying away in droves (good).

Kompany is used to going to Old Trafford and nearly getting double figures - we will be hyper focused on spanking them

Awful pitch for Championship level. I thought Ipswich's was terrible but at least they are in League One and don't have billionaire owners.

Caught this game from around the 80 minute mark, are these 2 teams really in our division ?

Was hoping to see some form of protest from the scrubbers but I presume I missed it or was it another boycott last night.

It is almost quite annoying that we played Rovers when we did. I know it was a top of the table clash and they were in somewhat decent form, which added to the occasion.

But had we played them at this moment in time I genuinely think it could've been five or six. Hopefully do that in March regardless.

It could have been 5 or 6 back in November, only some poor finishing and their keeper producing a couple of top drawer saves kept them in it for as long as 55 minutes.

In hindsight that Rovers clash coming when it did on the back of our mauling at Bramall Lane served us well as it allowed us to get that Sheff Utd defeat out of our system prior to the World Cup break and end on a high which we've maintained ever since.

You sort of have to feel a bit for the Rovers fans

They have been waiting ages to play us, and it looked like we were coming down in complete disarray with huge financial issues

Instead, they have been absolutely destroyed in a way that reminded them of the 5-0 (but in reverse) and they have seen us run away with the league, and have everyone saying how great we are

I'm not saying that is a the reason for their current unhappiness, but up here the amount of Rovers fans who were willing to talk football before the 3-0 compared to after it is hilarious
