Re: Horse fiddlers, under orders …
Just read it again Bosscat, and some of the spellings have altered when I copied it, possibly because it was a little blurred .. lol
Hopefully someone else will see the letter and be able to post a picture of it ( unlike me, duh ) there are no spelling mistakes on the original …

Thankfully, all our pub landlords/land ladies told the police where to go and everyone had a brilliant day/night and the pubs made a few quidBurnley1989 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 8:47 pmThey sent more or less the exact same to Burnley pubs before the home game, I remember reading it in the Angel pub

Re: Horse fiddlers, under orders …
If this game gets moved to near the end of the season, it isn't hard to imagine there being more of us there than them.
They have proved since the protest movement began they have little stomach for the fight for their club and will have no interest in seeing us have a party on their ground.

I was thinking that yesterday. If we have the chance to cement the title then most of them won't attend. Not in the ground anyway - they'll just fight outside.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 8:21 amIf this game gets moved to near the end of the season, it isn't hard to imagine there being more of us there than them.

They haven't fought outside the ground in any of the derbies from the last 20 odd years.
It's all the social media crap that hypes this fixture up into being a war zone.

I have to be honest here
i don't think I'd go if Rovers were in the same position we are in and could celebrate the title at the Turf

Dunno
In my lifetime, Rovers have been even further ahead of us then we are ahead of them now
I'm enjoying our East Lancs hegemony as long as it lasts, and not rubbing it in, because one thing is for sure, it won't last
Re: Horse fiddlers, under orders …
Oh rub it in, I am! It won’t change what we get in return when the pendulum swings back in their favour so I’m making the most of it.Lancasterclaret wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 9:16 amDunno
