Yes, great pairing with Beyer.
Hope we can get JB permanently.

THB not even being missed. Seamless changes in the first team until the cup.

Absolutely sensational, as is our other centre half at the moment. Both absolutely class.

Even if he were fit i wouldn't put THB back into the starting eleven.

Ekdal x Muric x Beyer

Makes me feel so much better about losing Mee, Tarks and Pope. What a time to be a Claret. Almost seamless transition from losing THB.

Tony Adams and Beckenbauer at the back today. A thing Burnley fans can only dream of. Class acts.

Proper old school quality defender with a touch of the modern. Reads the game so well. One of the best debut couple of games I've seen in a Burnley shirt.

He would have been my mom today, if Tella hadn't struck a hatrick .
Simply didn't put a foot wrong, and like VVD in his Southampton days, just oozed class. Everything looked easy for him.

The game appears to be being played at half his speed. He just looks so assured and in command.

Reminds me of VVD. The guy didn’t even need a shower when he came off. Looks a RR of a defender. Pure class

His defensive intelligence and positioning really stood out to me. Very assured and sensible, made one run which was a bit overplayed but otherwise made the correct decision every single time.
If he had half a yard more pace we'd never dream of having him permanently. But at this level it's not remotely an issue. Quality.
