I was looking at the replica shirt today in the club shop. Very different!

When did we actually play in this shirt as I’ve checked and photographs show us wearing the traditional claret ?

Do you mean the yellow one with the fuzzy black/white/red stripes?

We never wore it for a game, but our away shirt the following season was yellow with black stripes

Thank you for the replies. I wasn’t a supporter back in the 90’s but the shirt really struck me. Strange that it should be commissioned and never worn, especially at Wembley.

The story at the time was that it was meant to be the away shirt for the following season, but it didn’t turn out as expected/the club didn’t like it so added the stitching to the sleeve and sold it as a “limited edition”
