Harlesyke to Worsthorne
Just a quick post to let people know the top road from Harle Syke into Worsthorne is still closed due to snow. The snow plough / gritter has been unable to get through.
Worryingly more snow is forecast for this afternoon.

Don’t use that road to go between those two places.

I sometimes go the long way round from Halifax Road Nelson across the top of Harle Syke into Worsthorne and then back across to the Ridge turning down towards the Turf to park
It’s longer distance wise, similar time wise but more picturesque and I keep moving
So thanks for the heads up

Just for those of you who are coming from outside the immediate area - I don’t know of a single low lying road that isn’t perfect.
Only the high passes are still affected and they’ll be thawing quickly unless a new cold front comes in.
