Comprehensive win

Post by Vegas Claret » Sat Mar 11, 2023 5:45 pm

Wigan put in a lot more than Huddersfield yet we seemed to create far better chances today, a really really good performance topped by a brilliant goal by Foster (very difficult chance). Trophy being inflated now

Another game that we sailed through at about fifty percent.

If we really wanted it, we could have easily hit them for six or seven.

I thought Wigan were very poor, they have relegation written all over them. That is not to take away from an excellent performance by the lafs

Sometimes you have to give the other club some credit. Blackpool had a plan and it worked

Wigan's manager has just been on the highlights programme saying he thought they competed well in the second half. Which strikes me as odd, because the second half was over when Tella scored the second, and we strolled about taking it easy while Wigan protected their goal difference. No-one was really competing for anything.

Wigan did well in the second half by only conceding twice.
Should have been more.
