Strange with so many die hard Clarets who have missed out on tickets this season, thought we’d sell out on 6000 with everyone buying them for everyone else as has been suggested.

64 left at close of play Tues.

ST and 4k points required. Not sure if it eases Wednesday.

Looks like the final chance ...

Away Days gives the away allocation at The Riverside as 3,500, and Football Ground Guide gives it as just under 3,000, so hopefully the club will apply for more.

Ticketing site taken down just as people change their minds and grab the last few now it looks more likely we could clinch it at Boro.

A bit odd to do it before that game is fully sold out. Hope the new ‘experience’ works quickly without teething problems.

Is there any noticeable improvements in the ticket site?

Barely any made it to 4000 points

Got to be said, the away support this season has been outstanding

Unless I’m mistaken the tickets lasted the entirety of the 4000-6000 sale period and sold out once dropping to 2000-4000.

Looks like the club are more interested in making money from shifting fanzone tickets rather than getting an extra allocation. Hope I'm wrong.

I think before criticising the club, you'd have to check how much Middlesboro were willing to give us

It will be a huge game for them as well don't forget!

Be nice if people would but doesn't happen these days.

They have given us what they have to. We seem to have comments along the line of we should get any allocation we want for away games. 2000 tickets has been enough for most the visits to Boro.

I can't ever remember us taking 2000.

Probably not, remember a decent turn out in the early 90s when it was Bryan Robson's first game as their manager. Thankfully the Riverside is a lot calmer away day than Ayresome Park ever was

Yes, we've probably taken more to the old ground. We had a big following when we played them 1st game of the season think it was, maybe '94. Ayresome Park was certainly not for the feint hearted!

I know our lot are no saints but they’re a different breed in the North East, especially there.
I can’t go, due to family commitments but was looking forward to this one since the fixtures came out.

Turned up full of hope and expectation at Ayersome Park that day for the season opener following our return to what is now the Championship via our brilliant play off win at Wembley to end the season before. It was made immediately clear that it was going to be a long, long and extremely hard season and that whatever the question was, new record signing Liam Robinson wasn't ever going to be the answer!
