Remember seeing him for the first time in 1968 Olympics. Grainy.pictures but clear enough to realise something revolutionary in field athletics was happening. RIP Dick Fosbury.

I was shocked to learn that it was as far back as the Mexico Olympics in 1968 when he flopped and won.
