Wow. The only other times I can think when he’s achieved that are when he’s played as an unused substitute!

The more important stat for me is:

attempts to unnecessarily win a foul = 0

Just so much more effective on his feet than his ar$e.

I wouldn't go as far as excellent, he was often wasteful with the ball, not finding his pass, but 100% better than the PL Barnes. Reading Hull's Not606 message board and there's even suggestions of needing him specifically/someone like him

Another interesting stat might be, how many goals have we scored that have come from free kicks he has won? I don’t doubt it’s better to watch him stay on his feet but whether he is more “effective” is another matter. He was certainly a very integral part of how we used to play.
Having said that, personally I prefer the new Ashley Barnes!

Was expecting something a bit more Barnesian here tbh.

3 horse-knobbing b*stards thrown into the net in consecutive games.?
Over and hour sat on arse with hands in the air in one season ?

If it was 0-0 in the last minute when he took that heavy touch when clean through he'd owe me a new TV, fortunately it didn't matter.

And he did really well to win the throw that started the move.

Didn't he go down to try to win a penalty or was that someone else? Or is that a 'necessary' attempt to win a foul?!
