Next Manager
Bored so I thought I would start the thread early.
With Vinny off to Spurs in the summer, who would you like as our next manager?
Personally, I would like Sean back. He likes young international flair players, and Muric fits his tactical approach.
He'll keep Everton up and then be sacked in the summer.

Re: Next Manager
The Claretflakes and emoji kidz are going to have a field day with this one.
The flakes will post the following:
'FFS my entire life has just crumbled into an empty vacuum - can't you just enjoy things as they are'
And the Kidz:
'This is the stupidest thread in the history of the universe. It's stupidity even pre-dates the big bang and erm God even '
There the whole thread is done.

Re: Next Manager
I was thinking of buying a new toaster - any recommendations?
Re: Next Manager
Make sure it's big enough to take a full slice of bread. Argos do a decent one.Guller Bull wrote: βTue Mar 21, 2023 11:37 amI was thinking of buying a new toaster - any recommendations?

Re: Next Manager
My toaster has a habit of randomly throwing the socket ring fuse. The board is in the garage and it's really annoying.

Re: Next Manager
Years ago when I lived in a shared house we brought a sandwich toaster which one housemate complained 'always burnt the toast long before the cheese has melted'; when Simon to demonstrated this problem, we discovered that he was toasting the bread before he made the sarnie and put it into the sandwich maker.

Re: Next Manager
So many toasters fall at this first hurdle.
My advice is, donβt be scared to take a few loaves of bread into Argos to try out the toaster before you get home.
Sure, you get a few funny looks but the long term benefits far outweigh them.

If they made a toaster that magically disposed of the crumbs I would buy it .

The owners will certainly already be thinking about who will succeed Kompany.
Similar profile needed to continue the good work.

Re: Next Manager
When the time does come, the approach taken and the person selected will be really interesting. Finding another Kompany, someone intelligent, with a big profile and plenty of contacts will be hard enough. Finding someone with those qualities that actually delivers, even harder still.

Re: Next Manager
I was bored this morning.....post on here, or a walk in the sun, a few 1 euro pints, lunch by the sea, followed by a few more pints....glad I didn't decide the post on here option
Re: Next Manager
Combining the two prongs of this thread, our new manager could be a toaster.
He would use his loaf, do well in both halves, attack down both sides at the same time, and our opponents would end up toast.

I once wanted to buy a toaster that had a little section on the side to do beans in, but everyone at work laughed at me so I never did
