Neil Warnock's Huddersfield Town
Is he beginning to have the Colin effect?
Two draws and a win from their last five and they start to look like they might have a chance.
More importantly they host Boro on Saturday. If they were to win that, would that mean we would only need a draw against Boro the following Friday to be promoted. Obviously we would have to have beaten Sunderland before that.
Huddersfield also have Blackburn to play at home on Easter Monday.
Come on Col, do us a couple of favours whilst helping yourself out!

Fair play if he keeps them up, they were unbelievably poor at Turf Moor.

They were hardly likely to turn up given his pre match comments. He might as well have raised a white flag in his pre match conference.PremierLeagueClass wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2023 11:50 amFair play if he keeps them up, they were unbelievably poor at Turf Moor.
It’d be a great turnaround if he did manage to keep them up, definitely have a chance now. I hope they do - of all the West Yorkshire clubs, they are the one I don’t really mind.

We could certainly do with them taking points off Boro as it makes our job so much easier and brings the finishing line a good deal closer. To do that they'll have to be a hell of a lot better than at The Turf when they were up there with the 5 worst, most lackluster/disinterested away showings I've ever seen at our place tbh.

When he came out of the tunnel and was showing his arse towards the CFS and his pre-match comments you knew he didn't care about that match and rightly so, we were to strong for them.PremierLeagueClass wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2023 11:50 amFair play if he keeps them up, they were unbelievably poor at Turf Moor.
You could say it was clever management as it stopped Huddersfield fans having a go at him with him bigging us up before the game and also from himself and the players no energy or emotional energy was wasted on that game from their point of view, they knew they had other games where they could take advantage which they are now beginning to do.
Plus wasn't the game with us his first game? If so he might not have had the time by then to have the "Warnock effect" on the team.

We could lose our last 11, then Sheff Utd win 5 of their last 9 and Boro win 6 of their last 8 leaving us in the play offs

Losing 11 from the last 9 games would take some doing. Maybe there is a 9/11 conspiracy after all.

no idea how I manage to put 11, unless my subconscious was adding the 2 play off games we will lose as welldistortiondave wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2023 2:25 pmLosing 11 from the last 9 games would take some doing. Maybe there is a 9/11 conspiracy after all.

Re: Neil Warnock's Huddersfield Town
Nooooooooo! I just once laid a bet on Burnley losing and it ruined the game completely; I don't even forecast Burnley to ever do worse than draw in the match prediction league, though I'm still trying to work out how I managed to do that throughout last year and still achieve a decent league position

I am a Burnley fan and have been for nigh on 65 years. I find the above blasphemy offensive and hurtful. I don't come on here to be offended but to learn from other fans who, for the most part, are far more knowledgeable than me about the beautiful game. Thankfully the racist and homophobic comments, that were once widespread on here ,have long since gone. Why this need by some posters to have someone to offend?
