Kane is a horrible cheat , goes down like a cheap tart , though screams more and spends longer on the ground . It was play acting par excellence, and SD as a passionate manager had every right to question it. Can we please move on from the great man , he’s not our manager anymore .

Don't think that any Burnley supporter should reference a Manager who literally saved the club from many years of mediocrity in this way.
Precisely many of our supporters clearly have short memories about how recently we were toiling in the lower reaches.

As somebody mentioned earlier on this thread we can get promoted today, now naturally a huge amount of credit has to go to Kompany, however he has been the first to refer to the strong state Dyche left the club in, not least the players we were able to sell for decent money to fund the rebuild.

We've ever been incredibly fortunate, or our board have chosen wisely, but either way we should salute both Dyche and now Kompany for their achievements.

Doesn't mean they are both perfect, but they've both certainly got an awful lot more right than wrong during their Clarets tenures, and for that we should all be thankful.

Re his comments on Kane , funny he never commented on Ashley Barnes’s antics while manager of us .
Anyone with any kind of social awareness knows that while you may criticise others publicly, when it comes to friends, colleagues and certainly employees, you generally keep any real criticism private between just you and them.

That's Kane not going to Everton next season then.

When I see Burnley fans who don't like Sean Dyche I just wonder what stupid reason they'll come up wth in the future to not like Kompany. Poor, sad, miserable bastards.
At least we now know it’s ok to call someone a ******* on here , thanks 👍

It’s threads like this that makes me embarrassed to be a Burnley fan. When you consider the life expectancy of the average Prem managerial appointment, and what he did for us over nearly 10 years, the nay sayers should be ashamed of themselves. Sure, it went a bit flat at the end, but the correct decision was made and he moved on. He’s even agreed that it was the correct decision, so that shows he has personal integrity. Fwiw, I think what he said was valid; comparing Kane hitting the ground for a push in the face, and the potential career ender Keane suffered shows how screwed up the game has become. Kind of ironic that both the ‘victims’ of the red card events subsequently scored.

It was a red card, it was the Everton player’s fault, end of story.

The art of trolling is not to try too hard. It ends up looking desperate and needy.

Yes Barnes may have had a tendency to exaggerate contact to win a foul but don’t recall him ever collapsing to the floor holding his face looking to get a player sent off after being brushed by fingertips like Kane did
Wonder how many of the people bashing Dyche for this imaginary double standard also absolutely love Barnes' exaggerations as "proper shithousery he winds them up our Ash".
Wonder how many also conveniently don't notice that in the current team we have some who are much closer to Kane's antics than Barnes'.
I suspect it's the majority. There's something about Dyche that produces bizarrely bitter angry reactions from a chunk of our fans. Can understand it with Coyle, but no matter what your views on our playing style for his last two years, or how brilliant we're doing currently, I cannot understand it with Dyche.
