Football ... oh football makes you laugh it makes you cry, tears of joy tears of misery I walked from Burnley to Haslingden when Eintracht Frankfurt put us out of the Inter Cities Fairs cup, I was a kid who didn't want the adults to see me crying on the bus. The orient game then One Night in York 2 Wembley play off wins .... goodnight Claret family another lovely dream come true.

The Eintracht Frankfurt game was my first ever…I was 20 & just moved into the area…worked at NCR in Burnley & went with a salesman & his girlfriend before becoming a supporter the next season & ever since!
