Burnley trophy presentation

Post by HarrysClarets11 » Fri Apr 14, 2023 11:24 am

Hi, if we win the league in next couple of games, will we receive the trophy on the last home game v Cardiff City or would it be at the QPR game?

Still wouldn't be surprised if they took it to Middlesbrough 😁

It’s mad to think that they took the trophy to Middlesbrough v Brighton when we only needed a point at already relegated Charlton.

With goals scored counting of the goal difference was the same Middlesbrough would have needed to win by 3 goals and Brighton by 4 to overtake us, if we only got a point.

I don't think the decision was based on probability.

There were concerns about Charlton supporters protesting after the game against the owners of their club about how it was being run.
