If Boro don’t go up, you can imagine Akpom going.
Replacement for Barnes?

I’d imagine they’d want a huge sum.

I wonder if Norwich’s days of yo-yoing could be coming to an end. They need a big rebuild in the summer and I’m not convinced by Wagner.
I thought Wagner got lucky at Huddersfield and was found out at the end, but I think it was Webber who took him to Huddersfield and he's now taken him to Norwich.

I think they are a really poor side.

Shows how good we are when we’re beating Boro without really getting out of second gear

That’s penalty, but Aarons screwed it up with a typically ridiculous dive.

Crazy first half but all the way through I’ve been thinking how we just nullified Boro throughout last Friday. We are vastly inferior to every other side in this division. Amazing to think we’ve done the double double over Norwich and Boro.

Typo I'd have thought

Every other side in the division is nowhere near as good as us when we are on it, and most aren't even when we are not on it

I’ll take 90 pts vs 71 or whatever they’ve squeezed out!

All this garbage being slung at us re buying the league with parachute payments really is a joke, Norwich and Watford get the same cash, we had massive debts to pay and needed to totally rebuild, we succeed buy brilliant recruitment, they fail.

Spot on. Not only did they have the cash, they both kept most of their best players.

They were able to because they didn't have to use the parachute money to pay off debts. From the position we were in at the end of last season, both squad wise and financially, we have managed to put this squad together with precious little money and produced the most incredible of seasons.

We did indeed do the double over Boro and Norwich, and boast an aggregate score 0f 9-2 in the 4 meetings combined, plus the 2 we conceded were a mistake of our own making and a dubious penalty.

Not really that amazing when you view the table though is it.

Like you I an fed up hearing all this nonsense about us simply using parachute payments to buy the league, and the small fact we made a large net profit on our transfers to allow us to then invest seems to conveniently ignored.

And as you rightly mention if it was so easy why are Norwich and Watford both struggling to even make the play-off's, and both those clubs retained the majority of their PL squads.

Truly puts into perspective our success this season given we had to carry out a big revamp.
