Saturday's title win
Saturday's title win
QPR are going to get absolutely battered.
5-0.
I've never seen a successful season where we didn't have a wobble.
But if drawing away games to teams battling against relegation is our wobble then that speaks volumes for the quality of this side.
UTC.

Re: Saturday's title win
I'm glad someone can see the bigger picture, yes we'd ideally like to win every game, however once you are already promoted, and facing sides battling relegation it can throw up unexpected results towards the end of the season.
Hardly a wobble is it when we're 22 unbeaten.
I'm not sure it will be 5-0 Saturday, but back on home turf we'll surely want to clinch the title in style.

Re: Saturday's title win
It’s a win win situation for us. We either win and go to bastards as champions, or not win and have the opportunity to win the title at bastards. Either way I’m going to savour it.

Will the trophy be presented if we do manage to seal it on Saturday, or do we have to wait until the very end of the season?

Re: Saturday's title win
QPR will be flinging the ball into the box from every conceivable position I feel
Up to us to play like we did tonight but have our defensive heads on as well
I suppose if you are going to make mistakes, then you might as well make them when you've already been promoted

We'll get it the last home game against Cardiff.John Gayles Shoulder wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 10:17 pmWill the trophy be presented if we do manage to seal it on Saturday, or do we have to wait until the very end of the season?

Re: Saturday's title win
T'would be great if we could win 5-0 against QPR on Saturday
and seal the Championship with a fine performance and victory.
But I suspect we might find it difficult against a team fighting to stay up.
Just as we have done the last two games against Reading and Rotherham.
And if we can't manage a win on Saturday then we've got Rovers away.
Just a huge pity there'll only be a couple of thousand Clarets there.
