Place of Misery protest
Place of Misery protest
Are we going to do something in the 20th minute to highlight the fact that the ticket allocation is so unreasonable
I don’t propose making the playing surface Orange because that would improve it
In Spain they did a white handkerchief protest where everyone simply waived one then peacefully put it back in their pockets

Best response is probably to just pump them again.

I think the best protest we can do is absolutely batter them

Re: Place of Misery protest
let's hope we are Champions after Saturday and are 3-0 up at Ewood after an hour, 30 minutes of 3-0 to the Champions would sound rather nice !

I’d rather we let QPR have a point and spend Tuesday night chanting “We won the league, at Ewood Park”!Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 11:21 pmlet's hope we are Champions after Saturday and are 3-0 up at Ewood after an hour, 30 minutes of 3-0 to the Champions would sound rather nice !

Re: Place of Misery protest
Stand up for the champions
That’s why your staying down
Couldn’t sell all your tickets
Rovers came to Burnley and hardly touched the ball
23 23 undefeated
Who put the ball
There should be a decent rotation of songs for this game. And even 2k can make a racket as Cov proved last night

The comparison is way off, a spouse( lost or otherwise) refers to a loved one.Here's-Johnny wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 8:52 amCollectively... we need to Let the obsession with them go. Its like pining over a lost spouse Ffs!

Re: Place of Misery protest
Those of us that have been fans since when we were s**t are not likely to do thatHere's-Johnny wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 8:52 amCollectively... we need to Let the obsession with them go. Its like pining over a lost spouse Ffs!
Our dislike of them and the hope that one day we'd be beating them again kept us going at times
Plus, what is football without local rivalry?
(without the stupid hooliganism aspect of course)

Re: Place of Misery protest
It’s been done plenty of times, but I’d go for the rather simple banner held up across the front that says ‘football without fans is nothing’.
Individuals/owners that run clubs that that actively deter or stop fans from coming to the ground, especially for such petty reasons like this this, need to get out of the game.

Rovers are ****. Always have been. Always will be. How’s that for rivalry. I’ve hated them for over 70 years and will continue to do so as long as I am alive and probably when I’m dead ! Oh and congrats to the Coventry keeper last night lol

CHAMPIONS is all the banner needs to say !!
Re: Place of Misery protest
A Wovers forum has a thread on the Dingles that at present stands at 163 pages!! how is that for obsessed? posting anything on there slightly poking fun at them gets you an instant ban
Some of the comments recently come very close to inciting violence against Clarets fans. They really are a sad and bitter bunch.

Just a simple banner saying COWARDS would suffice.
Along with plenty of inflatable trophies

No guarantee we are going to get anything at Ewood. Get the job done on Saturday to save a massive embarrassment if they beat us.scouseclaret wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 11:39 pmI’d rather we let QPR have a point and spend Tuesday night chanting “We won the league, at Ewood Park”!

I’ve looked on now and again, weirdly 90% of the posts are from closet Blackburn fans, really sucks up at times so they don’t ban him, makes me cringeBigbopper wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 10:54 amA Wovers forum has a thread on the Dingles that at present stands at 163 pages!! how is that for obsessed? posting anything on there slightly poking fun at them gets you an instant ban

Obviously Burnley's modern education system has served you well.
