Re: Tella
There is a positive to today-the realisation Tella needs to be the first (along with Beyer) of the loans we need to get signed up

Re: Tella
Tella with injury would still have been better than the woeful dross served up today.

Re: Tella
VK suggested this week that he might make the final game of the season - he's the player we miss most I think.

You talk some absolute crap ,give it a rest or go and 'support' another team.
Re: Tella
Well said Amble ,the Dross ( which we supposibly ) served up today must have seen through the eyes of a moron,we sit towards the Jimmy Mac end of the ground ,and watching the ball pinging about in QPR’s penalty area was brilliant to watch,no disrespect to SD ,but saw more entertainment in 45 than in 10 yrs of our previous manager.AmbleClaret wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 9:57 pmT

Re: Tella
Nothing more moronic than this statement. Imagine getting more pleasure out of the first half today than under the entire tenure of Dyche.Carwin261 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 10:14 pmWell said Amble ,the Dross ( which we supposibly ) served up today must have seen through the eyes of a moron,we sit towards the Jimmy Mac end of the ground ,and watching the ball pinging about in QPR’s penalty area was brilliant to watch,no disrespect to SD ,but saw more entertainment in 45 than in 10 yrs of our previous manager.

Re: Tella
Thanks for the negative responses
I never resort to personal abuse no matter who posts a reply they don't agree with
The performance today was totally unacceptable and tough if that was hard for some to hear

Re: Tella
We ended up at Northampton town v Harrogate yesterday. Harrogate had a tella-esque number 10 who was clearly on a different level with the ball than the rest of the Harrogate players. Scored the first goal and created most of Harrogate chances.
I looked him up and he was on loan from Southampton as well.

Re: Tella
The first half display was superb, easily as good as the Huddersfield game, apart from not scoring the goals. We were poor in the second half admittedly but to call the performance unacceptable is way off the mark.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 23, 2023 4:36 amThanks for the negative responses

Re: Tella
The performance itself wasn’t too bad certainly not that dissimilar to others that resulted in wins. What was unacceptable though was the result but hey it happens even City under Pep have suffered random defeats that should never have happened. I suspect we will see a reaction in our last 3 now.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 23, 2023 4:36 amThanks for the negative responses

I watched Ainsworths interviews after the game said they tried to do something different to what the other teams had done. It looked to me as if they did more or less the same as what the majority have done the only difference being we missed our chances in this game.
Re: Tella
That first half performance was great and but for some brilliant defending, we could have been 4 up at half time, I don`t get why you say the performance was totally unacceptable? we were "Dyched" in the second half.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 23, 2023 4:36 amThanks for the negative responses

Re: Tella
I was also surprised by Ainsworth’s comments. Parking the bus is hardly tactical genius. They just executed the plan well and got a huge dollop of luck as wellJarrowClaret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 23, 2023 11:19 pmThe performance itself wasn’t too bad certainly not that dissimilar to others that resulted in wins. Re: Tella
I’m not sure what the answer is, because some of that was extreme. I know we did it in the Prem, but as you say not to that degree.
Early yellows may be the answer, but I also think players “injured” without any obvious cause should have to go off, then wait for a break in play to return.
