Any advice on where to park at Ewood?

Post by northeastclaret » Sun Apr 23, 2023 9:44 pm

Won’t be arriving until about 30 minutes before the kick off if we are lucky. Can anyone advise on good places to park. Thanks

I don't think you'll struggle around the ground with their attendances!

If you are leaving the M65 on junction 4 from the North East I would turn left towards Darwen away from the ground and try and find some terraced street parking around Birch Hall or the Anchor. Then walk down in the half hour you have to spare.

It'll be a bit hit and miss so good luck.

I’ve got a spare parking pass for behind the away stand.

You can always park near us on Pole Lane, call in the Craven Heifer for a beer
or two and then get on the bus they run from the pub to the ground.

It'll be full of bastards, but don't let that put you off.

I've never used it though to be fair. :D

Our car park closes for entry around 45 mins before kick off, sometimes even earlier. I'd ring to check before relying on using it

There’s free parking on branch rd heading back from ewood towards lower Darwen. You can get away up towards the hospital after

Lower Darwen will probably be best, certainly arriving late, like said above head back towards the hospital for the motorway

For the 5-0 and the cup replay, I parked on the estate behind the riverside stand then walked down the hill. Obviously it a fair few years ago now but it was easy back then and a 10 minute walk to the away end.

There is a school just before the motorway bridge when you turn onto Bolton road from the motorway that sometimes does parking, might be worth checking.

Had someone else from the forum message about it - going to give it them so it doesn’t go to waste mate as I’ve not heard anything from you Amex.

Parking the ball in the B@stards net is the only parking I'm thinking about tonight...4 or 5 times come on a big defeat and claiming the title in their back yard,it dosent come any better than that.
I really believe we have manufactured our last 3 results so to set this scenario up.
