Not what I'd pick but that's why I'm a Formula one racing driver and not a football manager.

JBG to lead us to victory.

Surprised at no Twine either.
Not the most physical is Twine, and this game may be just the wrong one for him.

I get Taylor for experience and Al Dakhil for pace, but with the two in the side at once our build-up play will be slower than usual. Al Dakhil is good, but he takes a touch and two seconds more than THB to move the ball, and Taylor even more so. It's a slower build which invites pressure, so we're going to be going long more than usual today.

Good team. Al Dakhil will benefit hugely from this win or lose. Makes sense having a left footer at CB plus height element. Vitinho will track back on B-D. Benson for damage later.

We are closer to our full strength team than them.

That away end. Good god.

Was there any comment from Blackburn as to why they dramatically reduced from a normal allocation?

Or have they just ignored it?

Absolutely. Very good player, but he chooses his pass after receiving the ball. THB and Beyer know where they're passing before they receive the ball.

Imagine getting angry and wanting to fight because someone likes a team with a different coloured t shirt. Bizzare.

Do we think Jack Cork is "out of favour". From being captain and a regular up to about 2 months ago, he rarely starts now

I think the logic is that we're far too good at keeping the ball to justify playing two defensive midfielders, so we play Brownhill who plays both CDM and CAM at once because he's an absolute beast in terms of his athleticism and fitness.

I'm not sure either is ready for this game after Saturday, but I certainly don't see Al Dakhil as a weakness
